PRIVACY NOTICE
How Waha handles your information.
Last updated 4 October 2026.
Information you provide
When you contact Waha, we receive the details you submit, including your name, organization, work email, message, partner type and any non-confidential files you choose to attach.
Private-room engagement
For a named invitation, Waha records verification, opportunity opens, repeat visits, document views or downloads, and expressions of interest. While an opportunity page is visible, focused and in active use, the site also records short heartbeats to estimate active viewing time. Counting stops when the page is hidden or idle. This is an operational estimate—not proof that a recipient read or understood any material—and is not used for advertising.
How it is used
We use this information to assess and respond to introductions, administer approved opportunity access, manage professional relationships, secure our systems, maintain a record of consent and communications, and meet applicable obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles.
Files and service providers
Files are stored in private infrastructure and checked for permitted type, matching file signatures, safe document structure, encryption, macros, embedded objects and executable content before Waha staff can open them. These technical checks are not an antivirus service and cannot eliminate every risk. Hosting, database and email providers process information on Waha’s behalf. Please do not upload confidential material before an NDA or other appropriate arrangement is in place.
Retention
Inactive submissions and accepted uploaded files are scheduled for deletion after 12 months unless they become part of an active relationship. Security and access audit records are retained for up to 24 months. Files that fail technical validation are deleted immediately.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing info@alwaha.me. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, dispute resolution or applicable law.
Important review note
This notice is an operational draft and should be reviewed by Egyptian counsel before relying on it as a final legal policy.
